Tony Kapel

Tony Kapel born and raised in Miami is a musician, artist, filmmaker, and scribe who traced the connection between local art and music scenes in the 2009 film, Closing Time. He also has written several novels. When he is not playing in his band Pocket Of Lollipops you can catch him writing for the Jitney or recording bands and creating fun events/happenings for his boutique label Hounds Tooth Cottage.

Tony Kapel is a sun-bathed and tropical version of the Renaissance man. He is a visual artist, writer, musician, scuba diver, and part-time animal wrangler for local cable access television. And he's also one half of the husband and wife band Pocket of Lollipops
